Inter and AC Milan could decide to continue sharing their home ground amid reports of their respective clubs splitting up their stadiums.
Inter and Milan have both planned to split their new stadiums, in addition to plans to renovate the current San Siro, but the situation is still uncertain.
Both clubs, now owned by American consortium Oaktree, are likely to remain under the same roof, but it is still unclear which team will own the historic home ground. According to http://ufabet999.app, Steven Zhang’s departure has played a key role in
the change, with executives at both clubs recognising that they have similar numbers in terms of average attendances of 70,000, season ticket holders of 40,000 and a target of 13,000 profitable seats.
Inter and Milan have also calculated that building a single new stadium could cost no less than €1 billion and take decades to generate a return on investment. Therefore, the collaboration looks like a much better investment.
Senior executives from both parties will meet with Mayor Giuseppe Sala to discuss the future of San Siro further.
They could propose to buy and implement WeBuild’s project to modernize the stadium without having to close it down for months.
However, there are still doubts about the estimated costs and it also depends on how much the city council values for their landmark. Meanwhile,
both Inter and Milan have worked on alternative plans in Inter’s San Donato area and Milan’s Rossano area. The Rossoneri have already started some work
while their city rivals have had to stop work due to the uncertainty of the senior position recently. But Oaktree is still interested in the project.
